Before passport control you will find most of the food outlets on the first floor in the Gatwick Village retail area. There is a wide choice including Costa Coffee, McDonald's, the Planet Hollywood Restaurant, and the Village Inn. The Granary restaurant has tables overlooking the aircraft manoeuvring area, and there is plenty of seating within the Village if you choose to sample Baskin Robins' ice cream or an irresistible morsel from Millie's Cookies.
In the Arrivals hall downstairs, just across from the exit from the Customs area, there is a Costa Coffee outlet which serves a wide range of drinks and snacks. This is a useful area in which to pass the time whilst waiting to meet someone arriving at South Terminal.
The Whistle Stop food and wine store is a good place for a range of ready-to-go food for those who want to eat on the move.
After passport control, there is a choice of Cafe Metro, Garfunkel's, McDonald's, Shakespeare Ale House, Sizzzzzzling Sausage and Uppercrust.
Pricing of food is strictly monitored by BM staff to ensure that branded products are the same price as they would be in the High Street, and items from non-branded outlets are comparable in cost with similar products available elsewhere.
As well as having a wide choice of restaurants and snack bars, travellers will find confectionery and cold drinks available at shops throughout both Terminals. Fresh cold water fountains are situated outside many of the washroom facilities.
