Gatwick Express

Many travellers pay the premium fare for the non-stop 30 minute (35 minutes on Sundays) journey on the Gatwick Express. Trains run every 15 minutes between 05:00 and midnight from London Victoria to Gatwick, and from 05:50 to 00:50 from Gatwick to Victoria. Outside these hours, trains run every hour from 00:30 to 04:30 from Victoria to Gatwick and from 01:35 to 04:35 from Gatwick to Victoria. Rolling stock is air conditioned and roomy with ample luggage space, and is all non-smoking. Generally there is a trolley service providing drinks and light snacks. There is always a train waiting at each station, so there is no need to stand around on a draughty platform.

Gatwick Express passengers can also take advantage of the British Airways check-in facilities at Victoria. The airline acts as agent for Air Zimbabwe, British Airways Express, Deutsche BA, GB Airways, Maersk Air, Emirates, and Royal Nepal Airlines. Luggage, even for flights later in the day, can be checked in from 06:00. It then travels out under seal on the Gatwick Express and is transferred aboard your flight to your final destination. A similar facility is available at the American Airlines check-in point on Platform 14. If it is more convenient for you to be dropped off or picked up by car at Victoria rather than Gatwick, use the Plaza Car Park at Victoria which is reached via Eccleston Bridge. Short-term parking and it is only a short walk from the car park to the check-in desks. Lifts and an escalator lead directly to the Gatwick Express.
