The Gatwick Skyview Experience, situated at South Terminal, is an ideal way of passing time, and keeping the children occupied, should you arrive early at the Airport or your flight be delayed. If you are stuck at North Terminal with time to spare, jump on the automatic rapid transit system to be at South Terminal in 5 minutes. Within the Skyview Experience is a Rotating Theatre Show which offers a six minute insight into life behind the scenes at the Airport complete with sound and music. On the Cinemotion Action Ride you can fulfil your dream to become a Harrier jet pilot or have a go at racing through a glacier run. The Viewing Gallery boasts a historic Herald aircraft with a series of displays and press button recordings positioned inside the plane which reveal the history of the aircraft and its part in the development of the modern jet. There is also the cockpit section of a de Havilland Comet, the world's first pure jet airliner.
