There are meeting points on the Arrivals concourse in both Terminals - at South Terminal in front of the car rental desks and in North Terminal near the information desk. If you cannot find the person you are meeting, the staff at the information desks will broadcast a message for you.
Coffee shops and other refreshment areas make good rendezvous points, and waiting at them is a lot better than standing around near the Customs exits.
