Wherever particular provision has been made for passengers with special needs, the details of that help will be found in the relevant section of this Guide. If you have a disability or impairment that you feel may not have been allowed for, however, you should call 01293 502337 for further help.
There are special assistance telephones at the entrance to South Terminal Departures, and also at the entrance to Zone C. To request help, passengers should call either extension 7320 or 7335 if the airline handling agent is Servisair, or extension 2337 if the handling agent is GHI.
Non-travelling visitors to the Airport who have walking difficulties and need transport to the car parks, Coach Station or Rail Station, should call extension 2337.
It is the responsibility of the airlines to help disabled passengers from the aircraft to the point of onward travel, so don't hesitate to seek help from your airline. Special needs phone numbers for all airlines at the airport are in the Gatwick Airline Directory.
There is little provision made for the needs of working dogs at Gatwick. Before passing through Security dogs can be taken outside for toileting, but that is not possible after Security. Cafes and bars will provide water for a dog if the owner provides a suitable bowl.
