Travelling to Gatwick by Car

Gatwick is well connected to the motorway system around London. It is linked directly to the M23 motorway at Junction 9 and to the A23 London to Brighton road. The M23 provides easy access to the M25 London Orbital Motorway, from where, westbound, London Heathrow and the M3, M4 and M40 motorways can be reached. Eastbound, the M25 serves the Channel ports and the Tunnel; Stansted Airport via the Dartford Tunnel or Bridge and the M11; and Luton Airport via Dartford and the M1. However, the M25 is notorious for slow moving traffic during the morning and evening peak periods so allow plenty of time for your journey.
