Business and Conference Facilities

Located in the Queens Building between T1 and T2, The Business Centre, Heathrow is operated by Thomas Cook and provides a complete range of business services. Telefax, photocopying and secretarial services are all available, as are work stations with Internet, computer and telephone connections. The recently refurbished Londinium Lounge has a fully-equipped Internet Centre with multi-media PCs, Pipex Dial Internet connection and E-Mail access. Laptop computers, printers and CD players with a selection of CDs are all available for hire.

The main Conference suite can cater for up to 60 people, theatre style, and a smaller room seats up to 30 people. There are a further 12 rooms suitable for syndicates or workshop groups. All rooms are fully air-conditioned and equipped with the latest in audio-visual presentation equipment, including a fully automated media wall, activated by infra-red remote control, in the main conference room.

Every effort will be made to bring together a package that best suits a client's particular needs, and it is not possible to list here all the available options for conferences and catering. An exclusive lounge provides a relaxing atmosphere between meetings or during stopover, and complimentary newspapers, periodicals and refreshments are all provided from 07:00 until 21:00, Monday to Friday, and 09:00 to 16:00 at weekends.

Work stations and an Internet Centre are also located in the Thomas Cook R&R lounge in the Flight Connection Centre. Work stations cost £15.00 per hour, and the Internet Centre (which has E-Mail access) costs £3.50 per 30 minutes. A principal advantage of The Business Centre is its location at the heart of the airport. It is landside and therefore accessible to visitors or clients who do not have a flight, whereas the R&R lounge is airside and accessible only to passengers with a boarding card who have passed through Security.
