A service of particular help to elderly and disabled passengers is the Heathrow Help Bus which provides free transfer between all the Terminals and the Central Bus Station. The service is available to passengers with special needs, limited mobility or who are encumbered with heavy baggage, and can be obtained by using a Help Point phone, contacting an information desk or by calling 0181 7455185. Buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts, anchorage points and specially trained drivers, and operate from 06:00 to 23:00 daily. The buses are kept busy, and it is advisable to allow plenty of extra time for your transfer.
Passengers with special needs or limited mobility can call for a free Help Bus to take them to another Terminal or the Central Bus Station. Ask at any of the information desks, use a Help Point phone or call 0181 7455185 to obtain assistance.
Help Bus phones are located in prominent positions and cost nothing to use. If you are elderly, infirm or travelling with small children and heavy baggage, call for free transfer between Terminals 1, 2 and 3, and the Central Bus Station. Help Points are larger panels.
