Special Needs

Wherever particular provision has been made for passengers with special needs, the details of that help will be found in the relevant section of this Guide. If you have a disability or impairment that you feel may not have been allowed for, however, you should call Heathrow Travel Care on 0181 7457495 for further advice. It is the responsibility of the airlines to help disabled passengers from the aircraft to the point of onward travel, so do not hesitate to seek help from your airline. Special needs phone numbers for all the airlines serving Heathrow are in the Airline Directory section of this Guide.

There is little provision made for the needs of working dogs at Heathrow. Before passing through Security dogs can be taken outside for toileting, but that is not possible after Security. Cafes and bars will provide water for a dog if the owner provides a suitable bowl.
